The most iconic shoes in all of weightlifting; the Adistar 2008. A 'Bird's Nest' single layer ClimaCool mesh developed specifically for the Beijing Olympic Games. The midfoot and forefoot of the shoes contains PU-coated leather for a durable, form-fitting hold. An all new Torsion System was developed for the shoe, providing lightweight arch support while allowing the forefront and rearfront to move freely for better foot stability.
This is a very rare sample blue model of the shoes. For this particular revision model, the shoes were made in June, 2006. There was a number of modifications made after this sample was distributed to a number of weightlifters to give feedback.
The general size conversion between different countries and also size conversion between different genders is shown below.
This shoe is self-assessed to be 'used' in condition. This means that there are scuffs around the toes, creases on the vamps of the shoes, scratches and scuffs on the midsole of the shoe, and some of the strap leather on one of the shoes is removed. However, there is definitely more wear than tear on these shoes and they can definitely still last a weightlifter many more years of training. DO NOT hesitate to ask for more details or pictures of the shoe, if you want to know more about the condition they are in.
